Charlie Dagnall
Leicestershire CCC

Completely barking mad, out of his tree, brilliant performer. A gifted natural cricketer arrived at the ‘Battle of York’ with ‘Mo the Sheikh’ - faced the Dunnington speed merchant before roaring in to bowl for the Buns’.

‘Daggers’ for me is a combination of the Duke of Wellington, Monty Python, Spike Milligan and the entire cast of “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest”.

Adored by the girls, this incorrigible charmer could and probably will play for England unless he becomes a D.J. or a dilettante in Cuba or somewhere. Charlie, can’t wait to see Gladstone in full flight. Good on yer ‘Daggers’. Sung Like a bird with Butch at “The Albert” and now moves stars for Leics C.C.C. – Good luck ‘Chas’!
