First Class Hundreds.
It’s been 10 years since he first played for The Bunbury’s
and has played whenever possible since. Chris says “It has
been a great pleasure to play for this team and their worthy causes.
To think that playing this great game of ours has taken me to some
of the finest English Houses this country has to offer. Now that
may seem a strange thing to say from someone who has played at most
of the major Test grounds around the World, but the pleasure I get
from taking part on these ‘local’ grounds and raising
money at the same time is very difficult to put into words.
Suffice to say there is nothing quite like it. I was there in 1986/87
when England last won The Ashes in Australia. ‘Broady’
was made player of the series. Truly a great player who always gets
us off to a lively start.
