I watched “Bones” progress through the Middlesex CCC
Ranks from U11 to U17 before making his County debut in 1999.
A fine all-round sportsman, hard-hitting right-hand batsman, attacking
wicket keeper and brilliant footballer, David also represented Middlesex
U15’s and 16’s at soccer.
It was great to see him keeping to “Big” Devon Malcolm
on his Bunbury debut at Alconbury and later in the season, facing
his bowling at Shenley.
Would make a first class wicket keeping coach, which is a distinct
possibility! Good luck Bones, at Northants this year.
